DESCRIPTION

The ECU determines the battery power according to the voltage of the AM21 terminal while the engine is running (not cranking).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

1.CHECK CHARGING SYSTEM

2.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY - POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU)

  1. Disconnect the power management control ECU connector.

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

  1. w/o Entry and Start System

    Standard Voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    D39-8 (AM21) - Body ground
    		Always
    		11 to 14 V

  1. w/ Entry and Start System

    Standard Voltage:
    Tester Connection
